Thanks for the +ve comments everyone - it took 4 hours to do. The clay bar took a about 2hrs of this time.
1) I Washed wheels then I washed the body work using the two bucket method with AG shampoo.
2) Dried using Turtle wax drying towel (Large blue one available in halfords - very very good!)
3) Clay bar with Megs Quick clay kit - I only used half a bar and you get two in the kit so Ive got another 1.5 bars of clay left although the quick detailer they provide for lubricant is almost done ( I was really paranoid about clay marring so I used loads!).
4) Polish using AG Super Resin Polish and a dual action polisher with cotton applicator pad.
5) Buff off using a dual action polisher with soft buffer pad.
***I wish I had done the polish step twice, maybe next time***
6) Applied AG Extra gloss protection manually using a micro fibre cloth
7) Left to bond with the SRP for an hour then buffed off by hand using a clean micro fibre cloth.
8) Windows polished with Autoglym Fast Glass
9) Alloys coated with AG alloy wheel seal (Sometimes I SRP then EGP them but I was very tired, I will save this for another day)
10) Plastic and rubber trim cleaned with AG Fast Glass
Next time I will give it two coats of SRP and I think I will invest in some AG HD wax to use instead of the EGP.
At some point I want to start polishing using abrasive pads using a decent polisher but not just yet.
