my Z4 small Mod thread

Car looks good,like the choice of rims too! What width & offset are they?

Do you have any plans of lowering the car also?

I also hope the mudflaps will be removed also..... Would really clean up the lines of the car IMO :)
 
They are 19x8.5 front and 19 x 9.5 rear. Not sure on the offset but the rears are level with the arch. I think I will be taking off the mudflaps as they so low they catch on everything. As for lowering im not going to bother did all that on my old car and it got silly in the end. The wheels fill the arches so will leave it as it is.
 
Well went shopping and come back to the car and it was the only one in the car park so just had to take some photos of the new wheels.

This definitely looked lowered today! Can't believe it's standard height. Those wheels are stunning. Run flats must be terrible if you think it's better on the 19's. My ride is firm but I have stretched tyres and lowering springs.

Mine must look proper low with 2 people inside.
 
when i put the 19's on it made the car a bit higher :lol: it is a low car to start with. my last car had 35mm lowering springs and the Z4 was lower when they were sat next to each other.
 
Well the badges are finished and I know its not everyone's cup of tea but I do like them. I have done a number of different colour combo's but I do like the black and blue with the black 3.0i and z4 badge.

When I can get them on my car I will post some photos and show what they look like. We have done some with the Z4 logo in but not to sure on them. So have changed it to black with a carbon Z this is the one I will be going with on my Z.

I quite like them. I would have some to cover my side repeaters while I wait for monkey to craft me some. What price are we looking at?
 
Im not sure on price yet im waiting for the guy who makes them so work out a cost. I will let you all know more when I know.

Ok they are all finished and I have now got them ready to fit. Not made up my mind yet on the colour blue or carbon. So will put both on the car to see what ones would be best then fit them when I have decided. So for now I have shaved off the two prongs that hold the bmw badge on so that the new Likwidart one will fit flush. I have mocked up the logo on the new clear side indicators just to give you an idea what they will look like. I will try and get these fitted over the weekend and take some more photos.

Nice wheels, I have the same style but 18s/same offset. Was worried about the ride with the 19s. The offset really does work nice for the car though. Only thing is they're a bit tricky to clean, worth it though as they really suit the car!

Badges look different too, nice idea

i love the wheels only had to clean them once so far so not been that bad. but they are a lot easier to clean then my last ones i had on my old car. :lol: i want to get the badges fitted so people can see them on the car but it dont stop raining :thumbsdown:
