No need to leave of course, soon there will only be a single Z in any Z run
And the lone Z is likely to be me at this rate
Don't worry, I'm not planning on #320 going anytime soon :driving:

Does that mean you have to be invited on the trips then?

Congratulations to you as well of course.

So .. he is still a darling even though he drives over your feet?

I must have been one of the few who bought a convertible when we had young children :)

My twin girls were only 2 when I bought my first Zed, and that was with full approval of Mrs Hutch :D

If I wobble further to Elise's it won't be till spring.

Congrats...

I got my TT at the start of the yr and then found out we are expecting!!

One little one was born 1st Oct and we chopped in the wife's SLK for a qashqui and I get to keep my TT :)

But to be honest once you have kids your perspective changes... I would trade in my TT (which would be a hard pill to swallow) in an instant if it was in our little ones best interest.

Thank you all for your positive comments :D

My darling Jan knows he has my full support in getting new Zed❤️

Plan is keep the new car for 3 years and hopefully trade her in for say an M3/4 when there abit more affordable :D

It's amazing how Zed's can bring about such an emotional bond - not surprised you feel this way but you do have lots of wonderful memories

Some good memory photos - Am sure you'll still keep popping by - difficult to get this place out of your system.

Whatever you'll end up with, am sure like me you'll find the brain goes into Zed alert mode each time one passes... catch u soon

Congratulations mate. Same position here - baby on the way in Jan and a 5-door 1 series just ordered for family duties. :( It's an M135i though.

My Zed needs to go but I'm waiting until Spring so I'll get a decent price. Hopefully, you can do the same as it should put a few extra quid in toy fund.

Exactly what ive ordered :D , makes it a little easier to give up the Z. What options have you gone for?

Nice one! I thought I'd read you went for a 118i but I'm getting old and confused.

I've gone for Alpine White with Coral leather, HK sound, sun protection, comfort pack, heated seats and best of all - a 'free' manual gearbox! Pretty lightly optioned but it has everything I need. I reckon you'll absolutely love the car, it really is a bit special for a family hack. Who else makes a 315bhp RWD hatch with a soundtrack like the M135i?! 8)

What spec have you gone for? Did you get a decent discount?

I've also gone for Alpine white with Coral Leather :D Comfort package and media, auto, Sun protection, heated seats, folding mirrors, adaptive lighting, park asset and HK.

As i placed my order with my local dealer I managed to get a reasonable discount with them, saves losing the deposit I already placed. My deposit and monthly payments remain the same as there were on the 118i

Nice spec Jan, you'll enjoy hooning around in that. I've got another 7 days before lock-down and my only dilemma is between sticking with white or changing to Mineral Grey. I hate cleaning cars and am worried that 'clean me' will make regular appearences in the dirt on my tailgate if I go for Alpine!

My Z4 goes on Sunday and if things stay on track I hope to collect on the 12th which isn't bad considering I only changed to order on the 11th of November. :D

Some lovely pictures and memories Jan. good luck with the new addition to the family!
