My Z4 Coupe :Updated 16/3/09 pg3

Thanks for all the positive comments

I was unsure if the interior would be to many people's liking, but it seems i'm wrong :)

The two tone is definitely a brave choice as it limits your market when you come to sell.

But it does look fantastic and have to say, the whole combination works extremely well on your car.

very nice, like the interior! good to see more women in the coupe and in cruises too nice one. any mods planned?

I don't really want to change it much, just window tints, carbon fibre badges and center caps, can't really think of anything else i want!
I fitted a new aerial on Saturday, a small one from an Audi instead of the mega long one that came on it!
Apart from that i'm very happy with everything else :)

Yer it will look nice, i want some carbon badges for mine. don't no why they put that massive ariel on doesn't look great.

Carbon badges look really good on the right colour. I have them on sterling Grey and most people like them.

There are threads on the aerial and it is required in certain circumstances and on certain wavelengths, but most people prefer to lose it as appearaence is more important than some radio reception situations.

Fantastic looking car and great colour combination...

... interior reminds me of my old TVR ...

So here's a little update of a few mods i've done.
The first thing i did was get rid of the mega long standard aerial and replaced with a stubby:

Then i got a set of 9 carbon fibre badges to replace the standard ones. Bonnet, boot, 2 sides, steering wheel and 4 center caps:

Decided to change the kidney grill from the standard silver one to a black one with a chrome surround to break up the blackness.

And after seeing Tommo's post on the forum about painting his calipers red, i decided to give it a go myself since he'd done it on his black Z with red interior and i thought it looked great:

So this is how it stands at the minute, but i'm booked in for having the windows tinted on Saturday. I think that will be it for exterior mods once the windows are done.

Looking good
The new grills are a great improvement.
Thats a long stubby :P

Not sure I'd have painted the spring clip on the calipers, it kind of makes it obvious they've be painted at a later date. I'd have left them silver but since they're painted now, how about making them black, just to add a bit of detail.

Now be honest, who curbed those alloys? :poke:
