My exhaust tips could be pulled off, not difficult at all!

How much are the fancy tips Steve?

They’re about £120 for the pair.

The ///M ones are straight cut which I don’t think will look right. They’re an 80mm outlet which is about max you’d want with the twin exit on one side.

The Akrapovic tips are slash cut and 76mm outlet which I think will look better.

So I’m 90% sure on the Akrapovic ones (I just wish you could have them unbranded!).

I was looking at those a while back, can’t you get unbranded, pattern ones from eBay?
Rob

I’ve found unbranded ones but they’re the inwardly rolled style rather that the slash cut.

The guys I use say they’ve fitted them to all sorts of cars and say they look great!

Looking good Steve
I had considered some of these
https://www.fastlanestyling.co.uk/ecomm/index.php?route=product/category&path=59_120&page=2
as I'd like the quad pipes look, but I'd have to cut the SE bumper and the 35i tips are welded on so would have to be cut off.
So not sure weather to try it or not

Trimming the bumper isn’t difficult for someone who has done it before, I’d personally get it done professionally and have the new tips welded on

Well I've done most things Steve, I am a qualified mechanic (don't do it for a living any more though) so if it's going to get done I'll do it myself,
Haven't really looked under the back bumper to see what's involved yet, been busy detailing the rest of the car.

Oh I didn’t realise! You’ll be fine I’m sure!

I on the other hand paid someone yesterday to fit my splitter as I didn’t want to get wet

Full Alcantara wheel from Royals is now being sorted :headbang:

Looking forward to seeing this 8)
Rob

Just had confirmation that it’ll be ready for mid Feb :D

I’ve got a few more days to decide whether I want the ///M Sport tri colour stitching or just plain black stitching. Im leaning towards plain black stitching.

Yep I’ve changed my mind again, Black alcantara with tri colour stitching.

Saw this pic and it swayed it for me.

Good fun this morning! First time on the rollers, so happy they told me it was running healthily! I was concerned the Tuning Box May make it run stupidly lean but all is well! I’m happy with the power, it feels very strong for a 270bhp car! Nice to see the M4 make near enough 500bhp with ease!!

That’s about the same as mine, pretty strong for a 2.0
It’s all that torque that makes them pull so strong 8)

Indeed! Not too bothered about the peak figures, just relieved to see a smooth curve and the thumbs up from the guys at SRR! I wasn’t a fan of these plug and play Tuning boxes but this one seems to be safe!

Couple of pics...

Looking forward to the week ahead, splitter and rear valance going gloss black and the new steering wheel will be fitted on Wednesday!

Love that wheel, looks like it's meant to be there which all good mods should do. Loving the black centre console and dash, looks much better than the silver I have in mine, not an easy switch I would imagine. Making me want the exhaust tips too, stop spending my money
