Hi all,

I am putting my Z4 Coupé up for sale and would like to offer it to forum members before it goes out on Pistonheads to Joe public, as it would make me happier to know it had gone to another forum member. It is an absolutely lovely car and in a great colour combo and specification.

I am putting it up for sale at £9,750.

Overview:
- 2007 Z4 Coupe 3.0 Si
- 69k miles, rising slowly as it is in daily use for commuting
- Full BMW service history until the last major service, which was done by BMW specialists BM-Tec
- Fresh MOT to be carried out prior to sale by BM-Tec

Specification:
- Automatic gearbox with wheel mounted paddleshifters
- Piano lacquer dashboard
- Electric adjustable red leather seats
- BMW Business soundsystem with factory fit subwoofers behind seats
- Multifunction steering wheel
- Cruise control

Upgrades:
- CSL-style 19" wheels
- Matching Toyo Proxy T1 tyres (non-run flats)
- Bilstein B8 dampers
- Eibach Pro-Sport springs
- Powerflexed front arms
- Retro-fitted red leather M-Sport seats (fully electrically adjustable with memory setting)
- Stubby aerial
- Osram Nightbreaker Headlights

Overall the car is in very good condition for a car of its age, with only a few very minor stone chips or age related marks. It has no known mechanical faults and has been very reliable during my ownership. I have covered around 25k miles and all it has needed during this time has been tyres and a new window regulator on the drivers side.

I still have the original BMW springs which will be included in the sale if desired. The two rear springs were replaced at the time I bought the car by the trader selling the vehicle, but I immediately swapped them all out for Eibachs which were 10mm lower and eliminated the arch gap when I fitted the 19" wheels.

The car drives beautifully and smoothly and everything works perfectly. It makes a fantastic daily driver with the auto box making for very chilled progress in traffic and surprisingly good fuel economy (I get circa 25 mpg in city driving and low 30s on a run), whilst the paddleshift and suspension set up makes it a very effective and engaging car to drive on clear country roads when the opportunity arises.

The only negative point is that three of the wheels would benefit from a refurb as they have been caught in a few places and please note that my private plate will not be included in the sale,

Other than that the car in in fantastic condition overall, with all the right paperwork and some well researched and professionally sourced and fitted upgrades.

It has been the best car I have ever owned and I am only parting with it, as now my business has taken off I would like to treat myself to a 35is.

The only pics I have at this point are some taken after a run over the peaks, which are a bit arty but show it off nicely. I will take some more practical photos over the weekend showing all round shots of the car and some of the interior.

Interested parties please email me at [email protected] or feel free to give me a call to discuss on 07748 208090. The car is in Spinningfields in Manchester during the day and in Hyde, Cheshire during the evenings.

What is "special" about it :?

Well maintained Z4 Coupe autos with paddles in a nice colour combo and spec are thin on the ground and whilst there have been numerous forum members who added CSLs to their cars over the years, I can't say I have ever seen another in the metal out on the road.

A bit disappointing really that you felt the need to make such a sneering remark on fellow forum members for sale thread.

Sorry, not sneering, a genuine question, most of our cars have some nice touches to them but thought there would be something in your description to elaborate on the title.

Sorry for any offence, and it a very nice looking car.

A nice Coupe James, it should find a new home on here with ease.

Ignore the remark mate, no need for it as you say, most of our cars, whatever they may be are special to us personally.

Good luck with the sale

Yep - ignore. Car looks great on those wheels. Out of interest, what colour leather was fitted prior to the red seats you currently have?

Gorgeous and the photos are lovely!

Look forward to some of the more 'practical shots' that you mention in your description.
A lovely coupe for someone.

In fact... I may have just the person. I shall forward a link to your advert on the Z4 Facebook page.
He's based in Manchester too!!!

Thanks for your post - appreciate it. Thought you were being sarcastic initially - easy to get the wrong end of the stick sometimes. Sorry if I misunderstood.

Thanks for your comments guys - interior shots will follow shortly along with some all round photos of the car once i have given her a good wash and polish.

The interior was also red leather before I switched the seats for the M-Sports. They raised a fortune on Ebay for some reason - I got more selling my SE seats than I paid for the M Sport ones :P !

I feel quite sad putting it up for sale really as I love the car. Just feel the time has come to move onto something a bit different. I hope a 35is will be equally as brilliant to own.

I'm sure a 35is will give you lots of pleasure too!

As I say, I've shared the advert on the Facebook page and Wasim Enzo should contact you.
He's been on the lookout for a coupe for ages and currently has a convertible. He was contemplating going to Ireland to look at one because it had the spec he wanted.

Thanks Wyldie - very kind of you. We spoke earlier today. By strange coincidence his office building is next door to mine! Why do I never get that sort of convenience when sourcing cars?! The 35is I have found is in bloody Kent!

Now that is a lovely looking coupe 8)

Did the bilstein b8's and eibachs give a noticeable affect on ride quality?
