Says bad salesman to me. Never, ever presume.

Or an A1 salesman who 99.99% of the time has sold yellow Zeds to women, so an natural assumption to make.

Tim.
The colour wasn't the issue. It was just the fact of buying a Z4 and an X5. The salesman was fantastic but the sales manager came to assist (poke his nose in) on the day with buying two cars. It was the manager that made the blunder.
I always go for something that stands out in the crowd, hense the yellow. Just look at the transit sportvan in the pic to carry my toys. The van has been mapped to 175bhp and has full race graphics and pretty much bling'd to the eyeballs including interior. I like everything I drive to turn heads so it had to be yellow :)

The zed turns heads in any colour!
Each to their own, you bought it so you must like it and that's all that matters. But having a 'different' colour you've got to expect some people not to like it, that's their opinion!

I sold wedding dresses to women 99.9% of the time I sold them to men for the other .1% so when a man came into my shop I never just assumed it was for a suit. I asked him what I could do for him, I never presumed to assume what he wanted until he told me. Then I sold it him as well as stuff he didn't think he wanted.
That is a good sales person.
