There are already way too many people in this world and it doesn't matter how much money you chuck at Africa it will still be corrupt, war-ravaged and these same issues will crop up again and again and again.
If you try and intervene you get accused of imperialism/colonialism.
I'd rather my charity money goes to help people suffering hardship as a result of a natural disaster (ie Japan/Boxing day tsunami's, Haiti earthquake etc).
I've lost all sympathy with Africa I'm afraid. It's time they sorted their own s*** out.

Well said, I was begining to think I was the only one who felt like that.
I also believe there are people out there that go out of their way to take offence at anything, Honestly to come on to a thread about wheels and start spouting pish and taking peoples comments COMPLETELY out of context and feel the need to post a link about african poverty is just ,, well SAD.
