My new roof. :)

ooooh looks perdy!
I don't see any fold creases in the material yet, have you had the roof down since you had it done??
That's exactly how mine looked 2 years ago, now its got shiny bits in the fabric where it folds all because I've been having fun!

Yes well im getting a cover that fits just over the roof and windows this winter and then building a car port after my june holiday next year and then she will be only used in the summer or dry by next winter as will have a daily driver by then, thats the plan.

I'd recommend the Cabrioshield one.

I don't think I've ever seen a rag top over about a year old without the fold marks. I dare say the only way of stopping them is by never putting the roof down - but, if you're going to do that, you might as well buy a coupe...

TBH this is what I pointed out in Jonny's other thread. Personal opinion I would rather spend ÂŁ900 on something else. I'm sure you could find a pro that could bring the original back to factory.

Can't believe you binned the original one though Jonny :o

V. nice, did you not fancy a different colour?

There is a silver Z3 near me with a red roof and that looks cool.

Bloody hell that must be costing you a fortune... but that's why you're not seeing them, the Renovo hides them for a while but they usually reappear - you're obviously reapplying before they have a chance to show up again.

This is a topic that comes up fairly often over on the Detailing World forums and the consensus appears to be that every rag-top car gets them because of the way the fabric rubs against itself when folding/folded, and you can hide them but there is no long-term solution

Looks great Jonny when we meet at Luke's i thought you where a bit crazy replacing the roof. As i didn't think yours was that bad. I stand corrected and i want into the asylum.....

Looks good Jonny...mine needs some TLC. :(

Ste...what Renovo product are you using? Proofer? Cleaner? Reviver?

Cheers.

Revived rather bizarrely by Chloefolio1196 on 14 Jan 2014.... :o and through an Internet search comes up on a Skoda Forum based in Turkey........ :!:

Perhaps he/she work for the company who replaced the roof....... :P
