When you said you were going to do this I thought you were insane - why would you spend a grand on a new roof when the original one works just fine and there are so many other things you could spend the money on ?

However, that is most certainly a grand well spent  8)

As ranski says though, you now need a hard top to protect it in the winter... At least until you get to the point when it's garaged through the dreary months :D
Thanks and Well i got it in the end for £900 and glad I did as no point in spending ££££££,s on mods and then have a faded scuffed roof to ruin it all, its lovely now tho and reminds me how she looked in 2005
Yes well im getting a cover that fits just over the roof and windows this winter and then building a car port after my june holiday next year and then she will be only used in the summer or dry by next winter as will have a daily driver by then, thats the plan.

Jonny,

I'm needing a new roof myself. What was the total for parts and labor on yours? What brand is it?
Thanks!

Your Zed looks brill matey, I have to admit you guys seem to have far more options with moding your cars than those of us who have E89's , I get quite envious if I'm honest . I do enjoy all the discussions re your Zed mods Mr Essex,

Don't you have a complete car cover ,if your car is left outside surely it would be top of your buy list I think I've seen a picture of maniacs Zed with a complete car cover , get your car port or garage built ASAP matey ,it makes life so much easier with these cars , personally speaking no garage no Zed ,
