the old dear used to bring them home sometimes, they were a bit lighter than a chelsea bun. i credit my adult physique to this one substitute in my childhood diet. :wink:

Adamski...you're thinking of marlboro cake, made by chain smoking benefits cheats the country over; it's a simple fruit cake recipe, replace the dried fruit with a bit of quality hash and bake for a bit. the name comes from the baker's inability to stop smoking throughout the process, so there tends to be a liberal sprinkling of full strength marlboro ash on top of the cake...
