My new hobby

Great, now I have an urge for cake! Thing is the better half of me is working away and I'm in the middle of nowhere so where am I supposed to get some?!
 
I hesitate to say this as a male on a car forum, but I love cooking! It's my stress relief when I can't get the camera out.

I cook curries (from scratch, none of your bought paste rubbish), a mean Sunday roast and occasional cakes. Last effort was baked sea bass.

My cake making isn't close to this standard though!

Really strange that you have posted this, as yesterday I was out shopping for ingredients to make my first ever cake. It's my sisters birthday next week and I'm going to impress her by attempting to make this:

I think you should bake a Z4 cake for the National Meet's BBQ! Perhaps charge a couple of quid a slice towards Craig's charity raffle. :thumbsup:

That cake looks awesome! I cant wait to see the results, good luck with it. Royal icing can be very tricky x
 
those cakes look awesome..... im no good at baking but make up for it when it comes to eating :D
