Well guys this is it....

I've had 14 months of incredible change... some forced, some chosen, some bad luck, some good luck . Its been a roller coaster ride! The development in myself over the past 14 months has really seen a change in me that i cant really describe, i adore, and i mean adore my z4m and i know its a one of kind for its spec and true concours winning condition ( with the awards to back it up) anyone that has seen it, will know. Im 34 now, i could REALLY use the cash tied up in the car. It will probably be one of the saddest days that i will endure for a long time, ive owned the car since 900 miles old and 12 years! Its been a blast guys!! Im going to list the car for around 36k, sit back and enjoy it over the summer period and beyond ..... i'll link the advert once its done. Just wanted to say a massive thank-you to the forum , its been an incredible ride over the years. That said if business really flies over the next 7 months maybe ill keep it, who knows.... i guess this one is over to the universe.

The supercharger is just the icing on a cake modified to perfection... I hope hope you don't sell it Byron, but if you do, can you scrape off the icing and post it to Sydney beforehand please :D

For someone out the know, What’s the spec of the car to ask for £36k?

ESS Supercharger and v low miles.

Indeed, plus AP’s all round, KWV3’s, camber plates, Vibra tech mounts, one off stainless exhaust, ultra light alloys, magnesium wheel bolts, etc, etc, there’s so much more too. The install looks OEM, and the whole car is 100% top flight concours on 12k Miles. It’s absolutely stunning in the flesh and sounds incredible..!! I would love to own it....

Playing devil's advocate here slightly, but '100% top flight concours' strictly speaking would only refer to a standard car maintained obsessively in the condition it rolled out of the factory or with factory approved optional equipment and upgrades. This is an exceptional condition modified car no doubt, but what would a standard car of the same condition and miles be worth, and do the mods made make it worth so much more? It may well be worth £36k to someone, but I think it may take quite some time to find a buyer at that ask.

Top flight in the modified class.....

Fair point though....

Hexagon have a 12k miler up at neigh on 30k, same miles as Beedubs car, that car though isn’t concours, so putting all the mods to one side or taking them off to sell separately, I’m not sure what the average premium is over standard non concours but to a concours fan roughly 6k would be acceptable no..? It would be in the Ford world but I don’t know about BMW admittedly.

Lets see guys!! i will deliberately listing the car now with a view to enjoy over summer...... i wont be budging much on price.... but all views are appreciated!

lol!! lets see what happens!! but..... ive had a bloody good run!... this year will be 13 years! ive realised something about myself over the past 12 months, i have this thing were i become attached to things, people even... that... i must be able to let go of, in order to move forward again. i Adore this thing, but unless i let it go..... im never going to be able to try something else... unfortunately im not in the financial position that was i once was where owning 3 vehicles at one is viable.... so this has to go, to make way for a new chapter.....

However.... like i aid if business really smashes it over the summer, i may just be able to add something to the collection and actually keep this.... and trust me if i can. i will.

Hope you get the price you want Byron. It is a one-off car, of that there is no doubt. You are in a good position to market it properly, so make good use of all your contacts. I wish you well.

Hope you smash it with your new business and can move forward without selling your Zed Beedub. I just can't imagine anyone else giving it as good a home as it has enjoyed thus far.

PS Do you have any resent pics of your engine bay. I' m in need of car porn. 8)

Sad day for you,if you have to sell it,Byron...it truly is a exceptional car and one I would love to own if I had the cash.
It is a big ask, price wise, and people normally are put off by mods like super chargers when buying(as has been the case over the years on here, with people having to strip the car of an ESS kit and sell it separately from the car).
But,I do think with your cars low mileage and the attention to detail of all the changes/mods/improvements,it's probably worth £25-35k,if you can get the right buyer.

Hopefully you can keep it though,it would be a shame if you couldn't.
All the best

Cheers guys.....

I'm busting my balls behind the scenes to work as hard as possible... Trust me if this doesn't need to go. It won't. The fat lady hasn't sung yet .... But it's very very difficult working 7am to 2am and seeing all that cash just sat their when I know it could give me a nice cushion ... I think you all understand. The business is doing well for a new business but it's still got a long way to go.... Like I say this one is down to the universe. Sometimes I have to remember I do have a son as well and it's unfair to place him under some the the stresses that come with a new business. I'm trying my utmost to be rounded here and I guess be a man about things and most of all a dad.

Good luck with the sale Byron! It’s just a car, it’ll sell at the right price and you’ll use the money to push your business forward and eventually buy something really exciting down the line.

The only risk in life is to not take any risks! Glwts

Hope the business takes off Byron and you are able to keep your unique Zed - I can imagine it would be difficult to part with :driving:

Hi Byron

I've done a google and can't find any info on the below! Sounds really interesting - where did you get these top mounts?
