Awesome, any Idea how much that is?GAZA62 said:Think we've got some autosol in the garage so will definately give that a go. Is that the only option? The metal seems like wafer thin, was hoping I could get something that made them look abit better.
You can buy chrome exhaust tip from the Stealers

Try Elephant and Bell - they were usually good for young VX'ers - make sure you put your Mum/Dad as named drivers - brings the cost down A LOT!!
Tescocompare also shows Halifax would be good for meAlso goto http://www.quidco.co.uk and you can get cashback provided you get the insurance through the link

I know you are going to love the ride.
As said before chrome tips are about £25 each (you need two) from a dealer.
Insurance - with age often come wisdom, but always lower insurance. When you get to be 43 with 8 years no claims you can enjoy £261 fully comp. Until then, you pay through the nose.
I feel like I'm 3 weeks ahead of you on the prep journey. I bought my 03 3.0 just under a month ago (I won't share price).
Just spent the day sorting out a headlight alignment issue and washing then polishing (5 star shine) her. Rain x, fitting the cruise control switch (god bless this forum and all the helpful people in it).
I did the roof treatment (Raggtop stuff) during the week.
Sometimes all a car needs is a new owner with some TLC. I'm sure you are going to love her and treat her well.
See you at a meet sometime.
I'll share my picture of my first Z4 2.5 with a compressor in it soon!

Adding my parents doesn't seem to help me much more lwith quotes this year, maybe it's since I'm over 25 now.
