My Evoque

Found out this morning from the dealer that they can get my Evoque chipped tuned to around 240BHP at a local tuner and Land Rover will keep the warranty!! Nice to know but I probably won't bother....yet! :P

That photo with the swans was processed only in Lightroom 4.

This one though.......

....... was a combination of HDR from a single RAW file in Photomatix, using layers in Photoshop and finishing in Lightroom 4! :)

After some experimenting and practice you get to see the shot as it will look after editing while taking the original pic!

Currently in the middle of a mini 3 day road trip in the Evoque in Wales and surrounding areas. Verdict so far... What a awesome do everything vehicle and very comfortable!! It goes and handles surprisingly well and is great fun in Sport mode using the paddle shifters!! Currently writing this in our room for the night in a Castle!! And they happen to run a Land Rover Experience from here!! Guess what I may be doing tomorrow!! ;)

Oh and the Evoque at the moment isn't as white as it was!! :P

360 miles in 3 days in the Evoque last weekend around Snowdonia. Never missed a beat and very capable vehicle! Pleased with my purchase. Didn't miss the Z4 at all so I was ready for a change (nothing to do with the Z4, just the type of vehicle. Suits my lifestyle more to be honest)!

We went up some roads and tracks (SatNav set to include unclassified roads!) that I wouldn't have attempted in the Z4!! :P

4x4 life is awesome, i just picked up a new one last week!!! wahooooooo, even tried to do some off roading myself!!

I had a play with the auto park feature again at the weekend. Surprises me how good it parks!!

Only saves on wheel refurbishment if cars you park between are not up in the kerb. If they are it will assume kerb is next to their wheels and promptly drive your wheels into it. Very clever though, had it on our mk6 golf for 15 months, think it was a £60 quid option as we already had front and rear park.

That looks really quick , would love to have a go at that. Is it difficult to trust it whilst you're sat there watching the steering wheel spin round out of your control?
