As per title really! Really dont want to sell this but got a silly offer to take a permanent job in Dubai, so I am leaving UK (again!)

anyhoo - hopefully this will go to a good home. :)

EDIT:

have removed the advert and put up an auction starting today (09/08/15) from £1 with no reserve. hoping the write up and picture make people recognise the worth of the car!

Lools good... love the write up! You dont mention service history that i can see but i am a lazy reader!. Can you list that? Also, has it been tracked as i notice a 'berg sticker on the back?

lol - yes it is an M25 sticker on the back :P

service history is partial, its about the only thing I havent had to do as the guy who had it before me did the service just before I bought it. the next service according to trip computer is only an oil service and due in about 4000 miles

bump as the classified ad has now been removed. auction up in its place!

Hi Pal

I have placed a really really really cheeky bid and expect to pay a realistic fair whack more. Any time you want to end it please feel free to call me on 07875414156 to discuss a mutually agreeable price.

I was after a Coupe with low miles but will happily try yours out as I have in all honesty been going between the Z and a 986.

Cash available on Friday mate.

Cheers

Ricky

Edit so seller didn't think I was taking the mick!

Nice looking Zed.

I don't understand your 'advert' on Ebay where you post it as no reserve, but then lower down indicate it owes you £8k but ask sensible offers around £5,500. Clearly one or the other is not true given your comments about laughing at, abusing people making lower offers, etc.

It's either no reserve or you intend to reject bids if you don't like the amount bid or offered.

Unless this is cleared up and becomes a proper sale with a price for members here, then I'm minded to remove this as it clearly does not constitute a sale advert, nor meet the criteria.

cj10, all the facts re: the figures on the auction are true, the car does indeed owe me just under £8K with what I have actually spent on it. If this is REALLY an issue and you need proof I can go so far as to provide scanned copies of the receipt of sale of the vehicle plus all the receipts of what I have spent on it to the exact figure, The figure on the MOT invoice is £1296 for example, I have emails from the breakers yard showing the agreed price on the interior and also further emails discussing the delivery of the interior once I have paid that figure with them, also have BMW original invoices for additional parts purchases etc.

That said, I am a realist. Would you pay £8000 for a z4 that was a 2004 model with 123'000 miles on it? The point of the statement was to show that I already KNOW I am going to be taking a loss on the car, but an attempt to mitigate that loss as much as I believe is possible. I had for example had an offer of £4000 on it which would be cutting my nose off to spite my face.

Given the big picture, the timeframe I have owned the car, looking into z4s of this age and condition, my figure of £5500 being a sensible offer ballpark is both above what I paid for the vehicle on purchase, but a fair price for the car and would be a figure that I would be happy to close the auction for.

Hope that clears the matter up?

EDIT: in fact if I remove the ambiguity altogether and make a firm commitment, will state that categorically I will close the auction for the above figure of £5500. hope that meets the rules here?

I don't car what you ask or what the car is worth, but the rules state a selling price.

I'll accept that you are offering to sell the car for £5500 and leave it as that.

What you do with eBay is up to you.

It might be worth locking-down or moving the other photos in your album on photobucket (linked by clicking on your pictures) ...... seeing the car with it's interior ripped out DIY style on the driveway might put some buyers off.

GLWTS

Last few hours on the auction and I still havent had a full on offer. looks like someone might get a bit of a bargain.

Yikes, that's a big hit if you've recently spent £3k on her.

Suppose that's the gamble with a no reserve eBay auction.

There's no way that ended as a legit auction and we shortly see a new owner on the forum having collected the Zed at the auction closing price...
