My biggest regret...

I sort of felt the same going from a Z3 to a Z4 You had to rag the Z3 to get the best from it.
The Z4 seems to do the same without the need to rag it, Far more refined than the Z3 is/was so i can imagine how the E89 feels.
The way i,d sum it up the Z3 is an older roadster where as the Z4 more of a sports tourer The e89 no idea not driven one :roll:

the e85, more of a sports tourer

Everything is relative, coming from a lotus Elise previously made my 3.0si feel like a limousine, it certainly didn’t feel like a sports car!

This one was fun
Flat out at 170mph down the back straight at Almeria, when the bottom hose decides to split.
Tipping into the corner, massive slide, and fortunately turned into pit lane to investigate
If I’d continued on another lap, I would certainly have been launched into the scenery at the next corner.

Thats only the second one of these I have ever seen.
A local guy while I was growing up had a 350 with the Pro Am headlight cowl and belly pan.
It looked amazing.

Had this after passing my test in 1986, it was a beast back then
