My 2006 Z4 3.0Si Supercharged, new updates

I bought it one month old from a Norwegian supplier, it has been used on a 2006 Bmw 630ia. So that they just deliver for the E90 can't be thrue. Other than the software, what can be the difference?

Its odd they don't list the ess kit for an si 3.0,but use a kit on a similar engines 5series.....whrn i asked years ago for my2005 3.0i,was told the kit couldn't be used on an si,so must be some changes in the kit. Nice one

It`s less space for the supercharger when installed on a Si, the air intake has very limited space compared to a Z4 with M54 or a 5 series E60. My Z4 was the first supercharger mounted to a N52 ESS installed. I think they the limited space for the airfilter can be a reason for them not listing the kit yet :(
 
Do you still have the lovely 2.2 supercharged roadster bmwz.....that was one gorgeous and well moddec car....still one of the best/nicest mod'd z,s on here.

No, sadly I do not have it anymore :? Im at my 4th Z4 now :D
 
My Z got some new touches this week:)

New custom made exhaust tips in satin black


Made me a custom sticker with VIN and the new colour code/name of the new Lambo paint:D


Last, maby a little stupid, but got the idea from Laferrari. A custom plate showing 1 of 1 :P

I`m now close to completion, just doing some finishing touches these days:)

So used the weekend very well, and wet sanded the whole car. Hood got 1500 grind, then 3000. Rest of the body just 3000, wanted to have som clear to play with later:D

Will soon do a photo session, so no finishing pics before then:(





 
I think he tries to get the paint supersmooth. So that after polishing it it has that wetlook on the paint.

Actually I drove it today :rofl:

The paint was better than oem, but when sanding you can get that little orangepeel much smoother.
