Quick check have done about 40k miles current Mtec discs and 8 years old, quite a lip on rears. But more cost effective buying a set.
Using with EBC greenstuff pads.

Yes very little dust compared to lot of disc pad combos.
And no heavy scoring, fairly even wear across disc face.

Good morning, flybobbie. Out of curiosity, was it the drilled & grooved discs all round that you went for? I see you have the option to just have them grooved or drilled. I'm going to be renewing all my brakes at some point in the near future and that deal sounds pretty decent to me, do you have any pics of them on the car?

Where are you seeing this, Peter? I've just had a look on MTEC, and they're coming in at £224 delivered.

Where are you seeing this, Peter? I've just had a look on MTEC, and they're coming in at £224 delivered.

The old E85 are quite cheap.
Cheapest rears i could see was £88. Was going to get those and just replace as fronts aren't too bad after 40k miles.
With ebc pads that was going to be a £140 spend.

Fronts seem more expensive.

Good buy.
Mtec are crafty.
They juggle the prices so a full set around £200 mark.
I just looked up the fronts. Yes £71 with discount.
But cheapest rears at moment about £127.

Best is do just front or rears and wait for most favourable price.
I only needed to do rears.
Cheap deal on those vanished by weekend.
