Mtec grooved discs

Crazy price on rear discs when you can buy vented ,,but not drilled ones for £30

I went mtec front, plain vented rear as a don’t track the car but the fronts do most work , I think fullset came in at 105 pounds plus pads

I notice rears tend wear a lot more than the fronts.
I like the grooves as it appears to give even wear with very little scoring, as the grit has somewhere to fall in to.

New discs and pad arrived.
You don't realise until you see new again how much wear those fitted have taken.

Ebc green pads seem to have quite coarse bed in grit.

Recieved my discs and pads today, also. The to-do list is growing at quite the pace

I will spray tomorrow the disc hubs to protect them.
I just use some Plastcote chrome paint or just silver.
Keeps them smart and don't rust or burn off.

Yes, next month tyres.
And Xmas replace one headlamp lens that has grazed, but how? A mystery.
When you say the headlamamp lens has grazed, do you mean that it is cloudy?

I don't know if it is applicable to the Z4 and I have never tried it, but I have seen videos of people using a specialist very fine cream to grind off the very top layer and had very good results.

Can anyone else comment on this? Much easier and cheaper than replacing the lens, if it works. Thinking it through, if the lens still needs to be replaced, you haven't spent much anyway.

Now Mtec have offered me the fronts for £84........

Can get for £69 from Mtec site.

Basically flipping the costs this week. So best to buy single pair when cheap.
Play cards right could have saved £60.
