///Ms for sale...

Gave the car a quick rub down, putting some alternative shots up.

Anyway, my original post was more about the number of cars for sale - any theories on why they have all disappeared? The weather? People keep talking about them?

People bought them, that why lol

Your is still for sale as it's expensive, with terrible pictures, dodgy history and a few photos of your last holiday mate

I bought one last week, ignored your advert it was a joke pal

Interesting thing, I checked Pistonheads before I left for my holiday, there were around 20-ish Z4MCs for sale. When I got home, there were 9 - of which five had sold. Now there are eight, and the only one left is mine.

I don't think that's anything to do with my car, more an observation there has clearly been a rush on the things. Several dealers are trying to bite my arm off for the thing but I really, really don't want it to go to one of them (I'm allergic).

There's 31 z4m on autotrader at the moment, 10 or so coupes !

Might give you a better idea on price and advert layout :)

ouch......

I don't see how this car as "dodgy history" ?
As for the advert ?
£19k is dealer money imo ,even on 33k , it has ins2 looming so a £900/£1k bill for the new owner
If you want it sold i would leave any blurb out of the listing about being a collectors car , euro holidays etc .
List the spec clearly & include the history as you have done , i would also drop the holiday shots & lower the ask price even if only slightly

Ps

Your a pro photographer ????

Seriously

yes - harsh indeed. Your sequential list of separate posts just a personal attack and that's the type of response that drives people away from forums. This is supposed to be a friendly place to be able get / share advice and info and help in general. Lighten up a bit. I hope i can ask questions at some point in the future without being shot at !

ps... Cameraman not same as pro photographer.... not that it should matter.

Good job he didn't list job as Dolly Grip or Best Boy :-) (always wondered at all those things in the film credits)

x2, not sure the asking price is too high (maybe with the marmite interior), but cars on 33k would be listed at £21-22k at a dealer, so I don't think Jay is a million miles off.

I agree with most of what has been said but yes the point could have been put across a lot less aggressively and in a more constructive manor.
I also think the price is fair for a private sale, these cars are more and more sort after now with low mileage so will command a premium if they're in top notch condition (which maybe yours isn't reading the 'bad bits'). Mine has 10k more miles and I'd be looking for a similar price if I were to sell.

I've been a member of a lot of forums, and this is a very friendly and helpful one....the other chaps posts are no reflection of the general behavior of people on this forum, he's a newbie anyway...i do agree, bit of a rant wasn't it!!

Which is the car you bought last week? Would be good to compare the advert (if still online) and Jay's one... ?

Don't believe i said they were.

It is indeed a lively forum though, what with 3cfe's car an all !

They're never deleted, just moved to the special Nightmare Threads Graveyard, hidden from view

I was hoping to see his responses

I saw it earlier , it was time the handbags went back in the cupboard & a good move removing the whole debacle

It is like missing the end of a good film, now I never know what happened
