If I didn't know most of the forum members on here a bit better I might feel inclined to take that somewhat personally.

Fortunately I do and most of the people on here have been offering me genuine, useful, constructive criticism.

I thought I did need to address the two above points, just if anyone interested in buying the car does read this (and not the advert)

1. Not a "rally" - just a holiday. Yes I hit V-Max with it. It's the autobahn and I was in an M-car. Mostly cruising at 120mph. Whether that counts as abuse I leave to the individual to decide.

2. Error message mentioned was a check engine light and immediately after it mentions the issue was a faulty lambda sensor, which was immediately replaced (common Z4 M problem I believe).
 
JayEmm, if yours is the only private one on sale I think it will go very soon. Mileage is very good, I think price is fair, if I was in the market I'd definitely be looking at it.

I am curious because I saw a similar thing happen not so long ago with Ferrari 360s - as the prices moved up (from 35-50k to 50-70k) all the private ones disappeared, mostly into the hands of dealers.

I'm not worried. I've got some nice photos for the photo of the month competition coming soon - all the proper ones were shot on film :)

Strange comment - you would rather win photo of the month than sell your car so use substandard pictures on your advert? I just looked at your ad and its filled with too many words. All the ad needs are the car details and good neutral pictures in a good area.

Car details and options.
Service history dates & mileage - where and main dealer example.
MOT details
Tyre depths, changes and make.
Warranty - not what someone could possibly get.
Possibly why its for sale.

That is is. Lose all other details especially about warning lights!!

I like the interior, its different and breaks up a bland interior.
 
No, the photos only got back from the lab the other day and I have to get them scanned in. Joys of medium format :)

In the stills world, film has mostly been overtaken but some professionals still use it. Sometimes for nostalgic reasons, or wanting to get a look for a shoot, or if they happen to be going somewhere they don't fancy taking their incredibly expensive digital gear.

In the cinema world, film is still used but it is nowhere near as commonplace as it used to be. Generally only larger studio films can afford to shoot it and even many of those have changed to digital for many other reasons.

I shot film on this trip because I wanted decent quality pictures and I don't have a high quality (digital) stills camera at the moment.
 
Film is used in fine art photography and has a resurgence in the wedding industry but generally the price per frame and lack of quality processing these days it doesn't make it an attractive option. Also high end DSLRs really do excel over the quality of film now.

I do love using my medium format camera it gives a very unique look and to create something similar in digital it would cost 12-15k.

I wish I was replacing mine with something sexy, but alas I am buying a set of eye-wateringly expensive lenses. Probably appealing to you, not many other people though!
 
Sytner BMW - I don't like dealers but they made a very fair offer. Not sure where in their network it will appear though. Will miss her, for sure.

Double edged sword imo , ,they offered you a price you are happy with & no-one can argue with that , they will hike the price even more which is bad for those looking but at the same time it drives the market up so current owners find that hard to moan about :wink:
