mr wilks said:Had a fantastic weekend break with mrs w . went in the Z & managed all her bags so no complaints there![]()
anyhow sat am we headed up to manchester from the hotel (45 miles ) spent the day & headed back .
it was during the return leg she suggested selling the car as " the bonnets too long , the ride is harsh & it only gets used occasionally "![]()
now it didn,t spoil the day nor was it a contentious debate but i just wondered if any other owners had partners who don,t quite appreciate our cars as we ?
oh incidentally her idea was to sell the Z & her golf & get a X5 or similar:lol:
That would have ruined my day, weekend actually.
I have the same issue, mainly due to the car being driven as it should so becomes dangerous hence a liability.
We have other modern cars so swapping it is not an issue, its the concept of having it for spirited driving.
