More ///M Badges

because it's not an //M- it is a sport. simple as that- spors are great cars- but are ruined as a pretenders or poormans M as soon as you stick a boot badge on! Be proud of what you have bought- not wish it was something else!

Because it's like sticking an RS badge on a 1.4 Ford Focus.

definitely going to fit my /M badges all over my black 406 now.

Should look bloody cool. 8) :driving:

Might even add a z4forum sticker at some point.

Superb - photos please (just to wind up the 'no M badge' brigade)

Life's too short to worry about such things as an 'M' badge stuck on a non 'M' vehicle but it obviously dooes worry/annoy 'M'any people from the responses in this thread. Fortunately 'M'any (if not the 'M'ajority) of us live in places where we can 'M'ake free choice about such things. 'My' own 'govern'M'ent' work takes me to 'M'any places where such choices do not exist (and good people die to give others that freedo'M'). Live and let live I say and if it does no har'M' to anyone else then it's OK by 'M'e....

Folks,

I have to chuckle every time one of these "bash the poseurs" threads comes up. The only people these folks are really fooling are themselves. Unless, of course, they are selling it and trying to pass it off to the new owner as a true M-Power or AMG vehicle. Then, it's fraudulent. All the more reason for a pre-purchase inspection.

I have an '02 E55 (with badges). I have a black Z4 debadged, because I like the look. I enjoy them both for what they are and don't pretend what they are not.

The general consensus of AMG owners, this side of the pond, seems to be, "no engine, no badge".

Just my $0.02.

Take care and enjoy your rides.

Good morning Jeff,

Just great on the Dyson! :D

I just looked at http://www.designworksusa.com/dwusa/clients/index.html

I would imagine anyone of their clients would like to put the "M" badge on. However, I would question their client "Procreate".

Cheers!
