Monkey World Garage project

Had another busy night last night. I had to cut a hole out of the floor for the ladder/stairs to go. Simple enough job had to cut through one of the floor joists. So had to use the acro props to stop it dropping.

Night off tonight i need a rest been leaving the house at 6.45 for work getting home at 6.15 then working till 10.00. So i recon i deserve a few beers tonight. I am going to put another coat of paint on Thursday and pick up a sofa for the relaxing space above the garage on Saturday. Got some mates coming round for the first party in the Barn.

Really frikken nice work dude!

I can't wait to come by. Looks like perfect "tinker with cars and drink beer" space.

Matt / this is starting to look like ideal for stopovers halfway to France 8)
you could start offering a "hands on " B & B experience where i could help make my own tailpipes :poke: :D

Its looking a top effort

Mr Wilks your welcome any time buddy  I might need to have a word with you in the new year about wheels. I need 2 17" - 18" wheels for the rear for a drifting day. Need to save some cash as i need an LSD as well.

If once i am set up and anyone wants to come learn a bit Machining just let me know. I teach this stuff for a living so it will be a doddle

It's been a while since I have updated. No pictures as my phone is playing up and the place is a mess!!

So I started late today as I have been a little under the weather. I wasn't going to do anything but I couldn't sit still with all the work still to do. So after a late start I decided to get the valves and air line run around the workshop. Stupot67 works in the pneumatics industry and has donated a bunch of stuff for the compressor  so a big thank you to him.

I had three old bulk head type lights knocking around so put them up. Lux good from hear has been a gent and donated 3 5ft strip lights just need to collect them and put them up soon. I got all the switches and sockets mounted I have 16 sockets should be enough. I have also got the 2 3 phase sockets on the wall. My mate Robbie is gonna spend a few evenings with me next week getting it all wired up :)

Measured the roof so I will be ordering the tiles for the roof Monday. Then that should all be done by the end of the month. Then I suspect a month of stone work and finishing off hopefully done by the end of February.

Just need to save up the rest of the cash for the machines and the phase converter.

I will get some pictures up soon.

I have not heard a peep Dave. And if I am honest that's good at the moment. I like it being a forum thing

I'm surprised, he gave your personal email address and forum contact details.
