Weirdly, my wheels were insured as "original equipment", along with the carbon spoiler and strut brace. Doesn't matter that they were after-sale, apparently, neither does it matter that the alloys were never an option, which I asked about explicitly, just that they were from BMW (might try and get this in writing, because I'm still doubtful it's true!). Then the KWs and Eventuri are just declared, and affect my premium, but not covered in the event of a claim.
