shortish answers please.... just curious too get what people think modding is.
is it the same a tuning? is it just visual thing or a performance thing? is it just ricing a honda .... give us your thoughts....
personally modding is not adding a few visual bits. pedal covers/painting calipers/stubbies/red roofs/intravee's/etc is not modding. its just adding bits for the sake. modding is what you do to gain power or performance and by performance i mean quantifiable performance. so a k&n cone filter from ebay for 50 quid is not a mod its wasting your cash.
having you head ported/polished = mod. exhausts that remove cats or put high flow ones = mod. quad conversion that is simply an add on to look like an//m is not a mod. carbon fiber wrap not mod. proper carbon fibre part=mod (ish they reduce weight) sport button module = mod. you get my drift. i know there is grey areas. but you can sort of put most one side or the other of the fence.
