I am SHOCKED no one has pointed this out yet. The iPhone does NOT use a sim card so unless your company is willing to reimburse you or pay the total monthly bill, I don't think this is the way to go.
I personally use an iPhone for my personal mobile and also have a company issued Blackberry for work email. I rarely use the Blackberry for calls.
Rabman and Andrew - thanks for pointing this out, so if the sim won't work then I will have to keep the V3 and the iphone would become just a gadget. Hmmmm. Company is on O2 as well so I hoped it would just work.rabman5 said:I personally use an iPhone for my personal mobile and also have a company issued Blackberry for work email. Good intelwegras said:iPhones are ONLY warrantied in the country of sale ie any warranty issues and the phone will have to be returned to USA
or any other country that you might be tempted to try to purchase from
AND US phones are locked to AT&T and at $199 you will have an AT&T 24 month contract not much help in UK

And that's exactly what I did in the end, got fed up waiting for news on the next iPhone so I bought an iPod touch in the meantime just to see if I like the UI etc, but in the end I got an HTC Desire on T-Mobile for £15/month including unlimited internet, paid around £160 for the handset. Works out at half the cost of an iPhone over two years. And it's pretty sexy, I think I prefer it, Android and HTC Sense.a11y said:I couldn't justify the cost of iPhone monthly contracts...Might be worth a look if you want a cheaper option than the iPhone...
