Selling my pride and joy as I now have a new toy. Based in south-east (Berkshire)

I have obsessed over this car for the last 4-5 years. She is crystal clean inside out, when the rocker cover gasket was changed around a year ago the cams were shiny like new. Please note, this car will be sold with the original head-unit as I want to keep the aftermarket one.

She has the full cream leather interior, heated & full electric seats.

Within the last 4 years, I have replaced the following;

Tensioners, pulleys and belts
Rocker Cover Gasket
Redline Transmition Oil
Crank ventilation system completely replaced with newer better insulated version
VANOS unit replaced with a refurbished unit with anti rattle bearings, around £450 for the part alone
4 x Continental - CONTISPORTCONTACT 5 installed a few months ago along with 4 wheel alignment
Respray of front and rear bumper performed by BMW Sytner (This cost me a fortune but I wanted to sort out the stone chips on the front and scuffs on the rear bumper - Full receipts provided)
Sonar Angel Eye Headlights - original headlights will also be provided
All injectors and coil-packs replaced (one of the original injectors had a slight leak so I just replaced the lot)
Backbox delete - replaced with Powerflow box and twin pipe - quality work done and gives the car a nice strong sound!
Axe Ex10 Matt Black Alloys - added BMW emblem to centers (two of the alloys have very slight scuffs on the rims by barely noticeable)
Hood motor replaced and drain paths opened up (can provide receipt)

She has partial BMW service history - stamped annually up to when I owned her at around 60k. Then serviced by my mechanic at AW Automotive annually. Always filled with Mobil 1 oil and ran on Shell V-Power.

If you want an enthusiast owned, tastefully modified and mint condition 3.0 Z4, this is the one.

I deliberately hunted for a 2005 Z4 as I wanted the M24 230hp engine. She still pulls like a horse, starts first time every time and idles beautifully.

Selling for £6000. Wont take any offers, if she doesn't sell for this amount, I simply wont sell her as I've invested too much money to give this car away for anything less.

PM me for more info or to arrange a viewing

Fair comment Dav - tweaked the price, added the location and info on service history!

The car looks nice but i suspect the price needs tweaking a bit more than that to get a sale, look at similar cars in the classified section on here for the level of the market these days

What price would you put it up for Rob?

Without wanting to offend, with an incomplete service history & lack of M-sport seats I’d put it at under £6k if you want to attract a buyer, your valuation is overlapping most facelift models and even some coupes.
Just my opinion of course

I hear you. I've lowered to £6k - I cant go lower given how much I've spent on her though. Honestly the lack of full "official" BMW history shouldn't bother an enthusiast who simply wants a mint car. Its not like they are going up in value and that history will help maintain this... Currently looking to make a massive loss, so I'm not seeing the point in selling her. If she doesn't go for £6k I will just happily use her as my daily runner.

I'm afraid that you never get back what you spend on a car, it just isn't how it works but there we go.
I think if you had some nice standard alloys on the car you'd stand a better chance of selling, but I think you're looking at more like £4.5-5k at the most.
Just my opinion and of course GLWS!

Place the car on an eBay classified add.Just to give you an idea of prices,I sold mine 2 months ago for less than 6k.The z4 had m seats,m front bumper,Aeros side skirts etc 65k miles with a full history.Your looking at £5k max.
If you want to sell you have to be realistic with pricing .E89 z4 cars can be had now for less than £7k
