Cruising along at erm . . . 70 and then stepping on the gas and marvelling at how strong the engine pulls in 6th and how urgently the car accelerates, then easing back into the middle lane - all with the top down, so you've got the looks and the power, the perfect sports car(Don't get me wrong I love a twisty country lane too).
Marlon, you aren't alone!
I like motorways when they are working properly.
I drove to Leicester on Saturday - used the M40 but went over to the M1 via Silverstone. Got that horribly wrong - they're turning that section of M1 into a "S**T-Motorway.
So coming home I used the M69 and A46 to get to the M40 near Warwick - much better progress (I don't think I had to do 70 all the way home).
3 hours going, 2 hours coming back - much better! But I still prefer a windy A or B road with good sightlines. I just hate urban roads - Z4 feels wasted on those!
