Meguiars Ceramic Wax

Yeah, you don’t wet the car, spray it on then dry it, you wet the car, spray it on, then rinse it off with a light water spray, then dry it off. It’s that rinse off that actually spreads it all over the car. Drying after that is very easy.

It certainly has helped keep the car cleaner than any other product I’ve used over the years. Some products feel a lot slicker to the touch than this, but those seem to attract dirt and dust a lot more....which I can’t quite understand the chemistry around that :?

F'kin p$55ed right off!

Went to do mine and pulled the pressure washer over when uncoiling the hose. Snapped the part off that the hosepipe connects to!

The rest of it unscrewed so hopefully can get a replacement part, but cheesed off. Had got all my other stuff out ready to rock, so had to put it all away!

Fixed the pressure washer, turns out the broken part is the same as a hozelock adapter that goes on a water tap.

Washing the car then a neighbour comes over for a chat.

.....an hour later it was cold and light fading! Quickly finished off but didn’t want to do the product as it was getting dark, so still didn’t get it done!

Use the pressure washer to wash the car but don’t use it to rinse the Megs off. That needs to be a gentle spray as you want the drops to run gently down the car rather than being blasted off it.

Not used it myself, I always use Sonax BSD as a drying aid and 'topper' when I dry. I'd also suggest never spraying a panel and spraying the towel instead, much neater and less waste.

I was wondering if blow drying the car would work or does the product have to be worked in and needs to be wiped off to get it right?
