Am sure there are probably a few scooter enthusiasts on here so thought I'd present my newest aquistion. Its a 49cc 1966 Peugeot 104BB styled like it's come straight out of a 60s futurist manifesto. Lots of restoration to do on it starting with a full strip down. Has compression though and if I can find a left hand replacement pedal and some new 15" tyres I may have myself a little French winner.
Had planned to buy an old 50 from my youth back in the late 80s (was proud owner of a 1983 white Honda MB5 with bikini fairing, Micron exhaust and uprated reeds) but this thing appeared on eBay and my finger pressed 'commit'. If I cant get it going or dont have time then I guess it makes for some cool motoring objet d'art
Cool numberplate too. Need to get registered but without any documents so going down the old tax disk route as it has one on it from 1972 (incidentally, anybody know it it would be transferable to another vehicle and what I'd need to do?)
Anyway, here is 'la Vielle Dame'...
