MC and MR for sale

When I come to move my Z4M on I'll be considering something like Collecting Cars, Piston Heads or Bonham's if private sale doesn't get much movement.

Those platforms are a great way to move on something more niche like a Z4M that don't get loads of searches on autotrader etc
 
That’s good advice mate - I’ve had few tomewaster who I’ve since discovered have messed other sellers around in the past. Seems many would rather a car that needs all the big jobs doing ie suspension, vanos, rod bearings and possibly paint (these cars are 16yrs ok) but as long as it has low miles it will be a bargain 🤷🏽‍♂️
Hopefully, mine will go to a true enthusiast who knows a well looked after car when they see one.

I keep coming back to that lovely roadster, but I have two on the drive already :(

The problem is that Z4Ms are "toys' and if money's tight the first thing that goes are those toys.... I am so glad that I have a ZM in the garage though. Make the most of it all as though it seems as though the West is gearing itself up for World War.... you couldn't make it up.

A few people have said that to me about selling mine but when I think about it, we're not talking about a £3000 MX-5 or something that mass population going to consider when looking for a sports car. So I don't think that the time of year really changes values or interest for these, a niche product has a niche customer that knows what they want regardless of season. Especially for the M, probably less so the other versions that are a lower price point

I’ve waited a very long time for one to come up mate - I’ve had several offers on her already, she’s sooooo lush……but then again so are the Interlagos and Imola 😊

Hi Simon, long time no speak, hope you’re well! Love the sepang! Are you the first owner on here to own 3 zeds at the same time? :D

I wasn’t in the market as such but the s54 with a drop top in imola red seems tempting. Appreciate you’re going to do a proper ad but just some qs. Has it had any recent maintenance ie rods done? Any mods to it? When I do a total car check it seems to think it’s in the ~£700 tax band strangely :| it was first registered in June 2006 right? I was under the impression it was a date in May that the change over to the new band happened, could be wrong as it was such a long time ago!

Possibly yes for 3xM, but I currently have four 'ordinary' zeds, and that's only because I just got rid of the fifth one. :D

Hi Ryan,

she's definately in the lower tax band - £34.59 per month.

I suppose I'd better clean them both up and get them advertised :(

And 3 Ms does seem a little greedy! If only your Coupe was Imola Red I'd have been seriously tempted.

Odd - a car check highlights tax cost as £735 and the registration date is in June so well after the March 2006 cut-off

I think there may be some confusion here! Simon's Coupe was registered in June, but his Roadster was first registered in March.
