I'd love it my favourite colour, unfortunately.........the wife..... :headbang:

Well you know what they say - it's much easier to seek forgiveness than permission.

Hence why neither of us still have one Iain

To be fair my Mrs and I parted before I bought a Z4. I couldn't afford one until then!

And I thought your wife was car mad …

She is.......but with her own one.... :( ..........she's already upset my Coupe can beat the pants/ knickers off hers BUT a fire breathing M Coupe would be seriously pushing my luck..........that being said, I'm working on her, I figure another year and I may just get away with it with only marginal bone fractures and light lasserations

My wife gets car mad every time I buy another car :D

Ooo....an EXIGE owner  .....what model? I used to have a series 2 Yellow (1 of 12 built ) RGB 260S ....man, that thing was wayyyyyy to fast for the road, ended up selling it after l got spooked out after a police chase , thing was I had no idea I was exceeding 100+ , they get up to speed incredibly quickly, fortunately l got away and they never got close enough to get my plate details , but I need my licence for work so I sold it before I got banned..

Mine is my sensible daily driver to keep the miles off my Zed, so not as extreme as yours :D It really is - I’ve covered 7.5k miles in the year I’ve owned it.
It’s a NA S2 that I planned to keep unmodified, but I’ve failed already (cold air intake, larger throttle body, high flow headers and cat with switchable back box bypass, aftermarket toe links, quick rack, triple pass radiator, steering wheel spacer with detachable Momo wheel, Mohawk roof, soft top conversion).
I've looked at 300hp supercharger / charge cooler setups, but I’ve managed to resist the temptation so far. The Australian traffic police are militant and absolutely don’t tolerate any bad behaviour (I tested that theory in my Zed and paid dearly for my exuberance).
At present, through the twisties, I can rev it out to over 8k rpm with the exhaust screaming like a super bike without hitting crazy speeds. Then, with the exhaust valve closed and at partial throttle in sixth gear, it’s not rowdy enough to attract too much attention from the police (the same is not true of oiks in Hiluxes and Raptors, or amateur racing drivers in AMG MBs who all want to prove how fast they are). With another 100hp and an LSD I wouldn’t keep my licence either!

Very nice looking Exige. Love the colour

I have never seen either of these cars in the flesh but witnessing the way that Simon is prepping and caring for his Sepang, I would be all over these cars if I was in the market for a new Z!

I know the market is pretty flat at the moment and the time of year is also a factor however, I've not had any questions ref my cars. Admittedly have not done a full on add and I've not added the revised prices but I would have expected the odd probing question. I am wondering, with these comments in mind, are M cars actually worth more in parts than has a whole car - what do you guys think?

Your cars are priced very well, it's just the worst time of year to be trying to sell a car.

January is generally very quiet for private sales, people recovering from Christmas and stretching the pennies until payday.

Cost of living crisis is really starting to impact people now as well as the cost of car ownership creeping up in the form of road tax and insurance premiums going crazy this year.

Honestly speaking, 6 months ago I would've snapped your arm off for that beautiful Z4MC but right now I'm debating whether all of the above is worth holding onto my Z4MR which only does about 1000 miles a year.

It really is a difficult time for a lot of people - hopefully when the weather picks up folks may be more inclined to take alook.

It's a very difficult market at the moment, not just for Z4M's.

I think it would be worthwhile doing the full adverts.

The biggest book drop since before Covid with car prices.
I heard rumours today it might put Cinch out of business due to the amount of stock they hold and what the cars are now valued at.

Only seems to be the case when selling, never buying (from the car trade) IME.

So BCA could go out of business? OK.

Hi Simon, lovely looking MC. I’m in the market for a MC - could you PM the details please? I’ve only just joined the forum so couldn’t PM you directly.

Thanks.
