Matthew's Montego Blue Z4

Hi guys,

Since I sold my previous Z4 a few years ago I've been after another. I really wanted a 3.0L this time and was so close to bagging one but just missed out.

Then this one popped up in my ideal spec 5 miles away. Not a 3.0L, it's the 2.0L like my last one but it's not really a problem. The Blue and White combo is exactly what I was looking for.

2007 Sport
80,000 miles
Full service history (last one was Inspection 2)
M Sport seats
Non-run flats all round (what a difference this makes!)
M Sport steering wheel
Parking sensors

I love it.

First job was to change the bloody awful aerial that had perished...

I also managed to shine up the exhaust tip. This is in the process of being replaced by twin tips from a 2.5 kindly donadted to me by another forum member.

I've also put my private plate on the car. What a difference a new 'clean' plate can make to a car.

A few days after I got the car home I started getting a strange noise from the starter motor. Decided it was good practice to get the car into a BMW indy and let them take a good look over her.

I needed a new starte motor, rear spring (broken), coolant top up and they also highlighted a rear tyre has a nail in it.

Luckily the car came with an RAC warranty who without fuss paid up for the starter motor and rear spring to the tune of £340 :D

Couldn't agree more about the plate, I bought a short one that doesn't mean a great deal to me but mainly for aesthetics. The new style plates are just ugly.

Agreed on the short plates personally think they add to the look of the motor, but I am biased.
Great colour by the way op and welcome to the forum  WP_20160729_06_57_54_Pro.jpg

Thanks guys. I know she isn't a 'six' but I absolutely love the car.

So long as your loving it nobody else's opinion really matters :driving:
I am sure there would be more M cars on the roads if we all had the funds :D

Looking great OP!

I am obviously completely biased, but I think Montego Blue looks great on a Z4! And it looks like you may have a Pearl Grey interior too - perfect!

Stunning colour - love it  . Interior would have me constantly worried about getting it dirty though :(

I just use leather wipes every week or so (and don't drive it in new jeans).

As a last resort there is always Scuffmaster!

My thoughts. I have blue with black but the white really lifts both colours and makes the whole car stand out.

could I keep a white interior clean :? Not a chance - you're a better man than me - very impressed
