Making My hub spacers

IIRC the Alutec braces were indeed about £250-300... However cj will know for sure.
 
It looks to me like they are billet witch is how I would make them. They also look anodised silver, black blue red is available would look ace!! I might be able to do them cheaper as i dont have a company to run. Have to see when I make them :)
 
Ummm, a shiny black version of that might make me do something permanently detrimental to my relationship - could you not make one please :cry:
 
The next nicest to those are from here http://www.strongstrut.com/ but your talking $550 for all thre parts plus shipping etc...
 
I'd be interested in the strut brace aswell... Especially anodised red and black :wub:

Not bothered bout the strut brace but would happily buy everything else 8) might have to put in a bulk order :rofl:

So they did fit and worked perfectly. Witch is good news as I had educated guesses at a few dimensions. It took ages to find some bolts and only managed to get one side done. I will post pics Monday.

So I am away for a holiday from Wednesday. I will probably make a few of the stud things o make it easy to put the wheels on with the spacers. Probably make another knob and work on the hand break handle and defo the twiddle radio knobs. Anyone know how they come off?

When I get back would any one fancy swapping a cuppra front splitter for a set of wheel spacers minus the bolts they where not cheap. I bet you can get them cheep on ebay.

Then I will start working on the braces. Pants let me know what you would like?
 
FYI I bought that splitter (LCR one) from Seat/Skoda dealer in Bristol about 2 years ago for my vRS, paid £21 collected so don't spend too much on it, make some calls IMO!

Right so i have made some hub spacers going to be trying them all this weekend. And then getting them anodized black next week so the don't corrode. I have made a few extra 1 set for me 1 set for Pants so there is another set going if any one wants them? Make me an offer.

I have
3x2 @ 20mm
2x2 @15mm
1x2 @10mm

Not sure what i am using yet or what pants wants i could make some more?
