Machine monkeys zed

Mat, if you need a pair of hands give me a shout, keep me fed with tea or coffee and I won't complain much. When the gf is away or busy, I don't have a huge amount to do down here down saaaauuff.

Hey Monkey, keep that lovely car!
If you need a hand all you gotta do is shout and the little forum gremlins will come and sort you out. Like the post above, not exactly a mechanic but I'd be willing to come down and help out for a day if you need it. Door rattles are my specialty

Ah warm forum feeling thanks guys  Really appreciate that and once the workshop is done i will organize a little meet and drive at mine

The car is beautiful just needs tlc.

Had a good night last night got some exhaust tips packaged up so one job off my mind. And spent ages pulling weeds out the ground so the garden looks ok again. After calming down about it all and getting the list of jobs a little smaller i think there is a ray of light at the end of the tunnel. Either that or someone is bringing me more work!!!!

Any way non car related but the garden looks better..

Bit of decking oil needed.

And still have to do something with this bit. But its been like that for 5 years another 1 wont hurt. I will just have to do my yearly hacking down being attacked by sharp sticky things!!

Thanks one in all for all the advice. I am prone to the occasional melt down!!!

I,m not a fan of any car that has been pulled to bits & put back again Mat so go with your WBAC plan & shift it on .
Then find your wallet from wherever you have it hidden :D & go for a bargain M roady http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201308238455253/sort/default/usedcars/postcode/bb120hr/make/bmw/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/model/z4/radius/70/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/price-to/9000/price-from/8000/page/1?logcode=p

I have viewed this car 3 times & it,s virtually unmarked . Yes the dealer may have a bad reputation but have the car inspected & it may be worth a punt

Looked at this myself. So tempting at the price!

Have you viewed it in the metal Gav ?

No, I've been meaning to but the missus says I'm not allowed haha :(

The quad has provisionally gone.

Really sorry i cant remember who this was going to!! It was sorted out via PM and the message is gone now. Cant you get in touch i am sure i will remember who it was once pointed in the right direction......

Hoping to put my new system on towards the end of May.

love that decking..... id like to do something similar at the bottom of my garden.... how easy is it to put up?

It's not that bad to be honest Byron. Just take time setting out the frame work and then it's plain sailing. If I ever get time I would be happy to help. The problem is making sure you don't get weeds growing up through it. You need some sort of ground cover under it.

That would be ME but I'm having Coupe issues so may not be able to use it for a while - PM sent!

It's been a busy night in the monkey cave. After deciding to ditch the work on the house for a while. It's great to be back working on car bits.

Been working on a exdos style back box mod for an M car. I started last night but had a very successful night tonight. Both boxes cut open and gutted almost. It was getting late so had to stop cutting and sawing.

At the weekend Ian and I fitted my quad to his car. Partly because he wanted it and partly because I needed a kick up the bum to start my new system. Well once I had to stop cutting I welded up one end of my new system. And packed it with left over wadding from my old Ian's new exhaust.

In the spirit of my car it is 100% DIY all made by me. I did think I did this because I was tight. But now I am starting to realise I just like to make my own life harder than it needs to be.

I have a few pictures I will post them tomorrow

Thanks JE

I think Beedub would be proud due to the fact there is hardly anything to them!! They are very light thinking of that track day!!

Hopefully they will drone less than straight through pipes. But hopefully they will still sound good.
