Machine monkeys zed

So do I need to turn the heating up?? Or will they dry. I am sat in my pants in my house right now :rofl: but I do have a weird body thermostats.

Will they dry shall I get a heat gun out what do I do. It's been 4 weeks the zed and I need to stretch our legs so to speak :D
 
I refurb'd my winter 108's and i wish i had paid someone to do it after all the effort it too!!

Aquazi i hear that and 100% agree with you. Trouble is i am half way through now. And i will not accept defeat i will have to finish them!!

I can guess it is a pain, but you are so close to finishing them. Just imagine how they will look on the zed when they are finished and fitted. Never mind the immense satisfaction you will have, not to forget the big grin all over your face.
 
yeah keep up the good work MM. looking forward to seeing em. I refurbed a set of m reps last year and had to rub down to prep for paint (red) - nowhere near as bad as taking down to alu like you, but i know how bad it can be.......

It is a lot of hard work but your right big :D when finished. I might try doing the fronts a different way. I found taking the paint of the front face quite easy. It was the paint in the spokes and behind that was a pain. I think i will try and mask off the area in the spokes. So that the paint stripper dose to get to them. Also i have some hardcore paint stripper now. Nitromorse didn't really touch the paint the new stuff ate through the container i was using to hold it in :evil: And the paint just pealed off in rubbery chunks.
 
Wheels back on :D just got back from a drive :driving: I had really missed her. Well we both had a great time. Not overly happy with the wheels. They need another polish.

And thanks Ben :x it's true I couldn't take a good picture even if I had a good camera!! They look better in pics they need some more polishing. But I have not put the clear coat on yet so thy I can keep working on them.

They are 255/30 19 and yes unfortunately still standard :( hopefully change that soon.
