Hopefully it will wok out!! A bit of a shame I can't fit a harness. But if they don't work out the way I want them too I can always get some buckets. I think it was the quick drive I had in your car has got me wanting better seats.

Yeah we should have a really nice set up hear soon. Got a pillar drill milling machine gilotine and some other machine tools coming. Got tig and mig welding equipment. Hopefully getting a post lift soon

Spring is hear i have a spring in my step. And i have energy and enthusiasm again!!
I have had to get a few jobs done at home building a wood shed and tiding up stuff. so that i could carry on with the car related stuff.

First of all i have brought a second car...... A 2001 Toyota Avensis 136k miles MOT until December. She is quite a looker and i am looking forward to picking her up this week..... I have got this beauty of a car so that i can get to and from the workshop. So the spray booth is nearly done. The workshop has been sorted so i have a space to prep the car. Materials have been and are being collected up. And i will be starting my car over the Bank holiday i have a few other jobs for members hear so it wont be finished but it will be started.

I am going to be mega boring and keep it the same silver it already is.... I did have plans for a very dark blue. But the extra work and after spend a lot of time looking at Dubsesd car!! I came to realize i would probably like mine silver if it was shiny and not so scratched!!

So i will be getting a 24 pack of white silicone. Another big tin of gloss white paint and 2 tins of floor paint. The next time i am in screwfix..

Well, Monkey lad, let me be the first to say that you'll deserve 24 of something else if you get all of the above finished and working to an acceptable standard

Thanks Stevo i do my best work when fueled by Cider so 24 cans will be helping me

It will all get done... Hopefully sooner rather than later. And i am expecting the finish to be fairly close to the standard BMW finish.

First face cleaned up a treat no run out at all they where tip top. Just a cosmetic 0.05 clean up
I will do the other 3 sides at lunch clean and paint them tonight. And i will do a mock up with the calipers i will be using.

I offered up the calliper to the painted and cleaned up disc. Sorry I struggle linking pictures on the iPad!!

Ha ha there are a few other things going on stopping me at the moment!! I ahve a few jobs this weekend for forum members and one next week also. I need to move some machinery in to the workshop and get that running. And then i can make all the brackets up so that i can fit them. Thats the trouble with not buying a kit. It all has to be made to fit. and it a whole heep of work!! That and the fact i am hopping to start the prep work for the respray this weekend. Means the brakes wont get any more work done to them for a while :thumbsdown:

Yes staying the same i was going to change to a dark midnight blue. But i have other things i would like to spend the time and money on.

So how much were your calipers.? You using the 330 carrier to mount them or do you have something else up your sleeve.?

So had a mechanical issue with a control arm over the weekend. So i will be fixing that and a few other annoying little jobs. I have other work to do for guys on hear this month.
And finally hopefully the machines i did a deal on over a year a go will be delivered. All this means i really dont want to start the paint work before my track day on the 1st of May. Good news for anyone who has been waiting. And hopefully good news for my seat build also. I should have my new leather covers arriving this week.

Nothing exciting to report and no pictures but things are progressing!!
