Machine Monkey Strikes Again! Cup Holder!

Hi Machine Monkey.

Love the cup holder. Been trying figure out a solution since I got my first Z4 a few weeks back. Never realised how much I use a cup holder, until I didn't have one!!

I realise this post is over 2 years old but I was wondering if you were still able to provide a cup holder and if so the price. Thanks.

I am sure i can make a few more. Just send me a PM if your interested.

And next time i am over the workshop i will make them up.

Hmmmm, interested. Nice design.
Will it accommodate my trusty old bimmer mug?
Bottom dia 60mm. Widest point 77mm.
I really did just measure that up with the old calipers, lol!

They are a little bit adjustable. i can in fact roll them up to almost any diameter.
u reckon u would be able to make it fit top 77mm and bottom 60mm dia shape? or is that being cheeky and pushing my luck? lol
by the way, marlon suggested asking where u got those handy wheelstud things from? been struggling for years whacking my winter wheels on and off - would make things a whole heap easier imo!

I can have a go but tapers tend to be a bit tricky. And getting the diameters just right will be very difficult.
Yeah i can make one of them for no problem too.

Count me in for a silver one then plz!
What's prices again? more favourable if 2 ordered?
u need minimum order number for anodizing - sorry just skimmed over previous posts in this thread....

I cant offer the anodizing as an option anymore as its a minimum order of £50 and thats a lot of cup holders!!
I can spray them black but cant promise the longevity of the finish as its just paint and may chip.

£15 each i will do the second one for £10 thats delivered UK a little more if outside the UK due to postage costs.

Aight top.
Can u do one tapered to fit me old thermo mug if poss and the other normal/straight? In bare metal finish.
U finish the edges too after cutting i presume? My friend lau went ballistic at me cos she snagged a pair of expensive tights in my other beemer one time. I told her she should wear some wellies. I got a smack in the chops for that bit of advice. Lol
Pm me total cost posted to holland (3451hb, Vleuten)
Cheers mat.
Oh...and those wheel pins? Where from?

So I finally got around to installing the groovy cup/bottle-holder that Mat fabbed up for me last September!
Holy guacamole batman! Why the delay? I hear you ask. Well, groovy, fab and handy though it is, I realised it wasn't going to install and sit nicely as intended due to the curvature of the top tab that slips between the plastic trannytunnel trim and the carpet. A small oversight on Mat's part perhaps but I don't hold it against him one bit - he's been a top geezer afaic and has kindly replaced a knicked wheelpin in return for a forum contribution

So in order to get it sorted it was out with a nail hammer and intermediary piece of steel in order to shape the top part flat.
I don't have a vice here in Holland, well, not the sort of vice I would need in this instance anyway ( :P    ) so I had to make do with bashing it til acceptably flat. It's aluminium so easily workable. Sadly however, I'm not the worlds greatest metalworker so the result is a bit rough and ready but at least it fits, sits and functions nicely. Need to stretch the sides a bit more perhaps to accept the BMW beaker but happy with the result....
