Sold by auction on collecting cars back in March and now up on ebay for less than the current trade price valuation - decent mileage and comes with the Eventuri intake and Remus exhaust. Only problem is that its nearer to France than it is to where I am in Sheffield
Not a bad price given he would have paid £15750 Inc the 6% buyer fee to collectingcars. Was it listed on the forum prior?

Proving more than a little resistant to sale, third run through tomorrow again.

Just to add to the thread, I have recently parted ways with my Carbon Black Z4M coupe after 5 years of ownership. I sold to We Buy Any Car - values had been steadily climbing until it was too good an opportunity to sell. Quick, efficient and zero hassle.

If anyone ultimately buys it (YC57 UWK) on here you have got a good one.

[/quote]Am I right in thinking thinking that this car was sold to Webuyanycar.com without being offered on the forum and is now being auctioned by BCA which is open to trade only buyers?

If it's any good it would be worth the drive to collect.

Why anyone chooses to list their car on collecting cars is totally beyond me. :? The prices the trade are paying far exceed what they'll get you for it :headbang:

I tried to sell the car about 18 months ago on the Forum, but I had very little interest to be honest. I have sold to WBAC for £17,750, which I think is a decent price for a quick, no hassle sale. I am sure if I had sold privately I could maybe of achieved a bit more, but based on my previous experience they are not easy cars to sell. Can't really fault the WBAC experience.

Sales last month August just over GBPten million. Pretty good performance from a couple of guys in a small office in Putney.

I think people get caught up looking on the site, then just default to sell their car on it when the time comes. All of the Ms that have sold on there have been well under what they could have got from a trader. It’s a nice little idea, but as a buyer paying fees on what you’ve bought must put a lot of average Joe’s off of even bidding.

I dunno GBP10 million in a month is a lot of average Joes, the site gets a lot of traffic, hence the volume of sales. And remember by the time the genuine buyer has connected with the genuine seller and driven off in the new car a commission has been paid to the auction house. So, fair market value is achieved once this is factored in.

I would avoid that seller or do some research of your own

Does anyone know or own the silver coupe on ebay at the moment? AP56 YZN

With just 10 hours left it is still only at £15,425 - could be an early Christmas present for someone!

Its strange that it has no mot history before 2015. Comes up as 1st registered in jan 2015. Owner didnt want to answer any questions

Could have had a different (i.e. private) plate before 2015, or could have come over from Northern Ireland where MOTs aren’t recorded on the same system apparently.

The car seems to check out OK - it isn't an import and has been with the same keeper since 2016.
The owner however is a very different kettle of fish - all academic now anyway on the basis they have ended the sale

What a knob

Edit to add, not you G!

Not the sort of person you want to buying from then! :o

Although even budgeting for new bearing shells it wasn't dear.
