Now 8) how about a crisp looking 67k Imola ZM coupe that reads well & looks mighty fine for a £18750 ask :
Lot of ZMCs on the market right now circa 60k-70k including many forum cars but this one looks somewhat of a "bargain" for the much sought after colour with reasonable miles covered https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4M-COUPE-2d-338-BHP-Coupe-Petrol-Manual/224060928225?hash=item342b1270e1:g:jh4AAOSw9~Ne-KV2

Looking forward to sharing pictures in due course... I'm aware there is another lovely genuine one in Imola Red coming on the forum soon...

At the other end of the spectrum. Is this a bargain or trouble?

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202005029152253?postcode=pl124ty&model=Z4M&advertising-location=at_cars&radius=1501&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&sort=relevance&make=BMW&page=1

On the face of it a bargain to the right buyer. :)

Yes, that looks like a good price for anyone who doesn't mind the mileage.

Is this the BEST colour? Just listed today- Discuss........

The owner does write a good advertisement and clearly he has spent time and money on the car. However, IMHO, 25k is overpriced for a car that’s been crashed (perhaps written off) previously and was repaired poorly. Does that reflect a previous owner’s attitude towards the car? Also, it has fairly average mileage for a ///MC, few are used as daily drivers.

He’s clearly a salesman - I’m pretty sure that there’s at least one brown ///MR despite his claims that none exist. Didn’t Taz buy one to keep his Z4C company?

Wouldn’t pay anymore than £20,000 for that.

Guy is asking for top money whilst on CSL reps? GTFO

Massively overpriced, but a forum car and not a bad one. Saw it at Bicester earlier in the year and it looked very tidy.

If the owner is reading this, you might want to think twice about nicking copy off digital publishers with big armies of lawyers! Plus it’s from a roadster review... :P

I think it's not a million miles off with pricing. It's a super rare car in that colour, which to many is the best colour for this car. It's been well looked after in this guys ownership and he's obviously spent a lot of dollar on getting it right.

As cars age, the colour makes a big difference in pricing. Look at the price difference between an e46 M3 in Laguna Seca Blue and one in Carbon Black....

It's a well-written and very detailed advert but at that price I think he's hoping to find someone desperate to find one in Sepang, otherwise it looks dear when there is a Silver Grey one £1,000 cheaper that's only done 38K miles! And his doesn't even have cup-holders.

I wouldn't be put off by the crash repair if there was proof of the Autolign inspection - for all I know my car might have been damaged in the past, but not badly enough to get an Insurance CAT marker.

But you'd really have to love the colour and personally I'd rather have Imola or Interlagos, especially with Champagne or Sepang trim but that's because I like some colour!

One thing that always surprises me is how many MCs always seem to be for sale when only about 600 came to the UK. :o

No doubt the market prefers certain colours and can make a sale easier to achieve. Not sure personally if we would be up for a Cat D car, because of the problems when your mood has changed and you want to move on. Mind you, thinking about it our average length of ownership seems to be about a minimum of six years, and we tend to acquire more than we sell :D which can lead to problems with the significant other :!:
The sepang advert certainly attracted my attention, primarily for the photo's I guess. Wish the owner luck, and as for the price, good luck with that!
