M market watch

He may be lucky via ebay & get a buyer who sees the car/price then gets carried away & misses the bonnet but that's a £1500 job to fettle & makes the whole deal a totally different proposition
Should be mentioned in the ad imo as opposed to stating "fully repaired" which it isn't

Yeah have to agree. Imagine finding out after you bought it. Be an expensive mistake.

Here is the for sale:

That colour really is stunning. If I had/have my time in one of these again, I'd be going with that for sure. There was an immaculate roadster, 2l I think, at Silverstone Classics last year. CSLs, every option (from peering through the glass!), midnight blue with cream... stunning!

Dont think i have seen this one before...

Pricey but low miles..

Nothing new for Sytners....

They try it with every M car....

Cant fault them for trying i guess, and they may find buyers but the stock they have hangs around for months.

That's my neighbours car, been for sale for around 8 months, she's had it almost since new. Tbh I'm surprised it hasn't sold, though I know she doesn't want to budge on price. Fair play to her, compared to synters pricing I'd say it's a bargain. In fact I was very close to buying it to store/speculate but couldn't make the storage costs work.

Does anyone have any background on the Ebay car @ Tootle?

It has been around for a few months now and not sure why as colour, spec price etc seems right.

Dohh sorry just seen above!!!

See post my above. It's the girl who lives downstairs from me in London.
Nice car, have no idea why it hasn't sold apart from the terrible idea of trying to sell it through this tootle company. They are like a sale in advance type company if I understand it. She doesn;t have the time to deal with the sale.
It's a good car, full BMWSH until recently, one specialist stamp I believe. Currently dry stored, she's in no hurry to sell and wants what she's asking for it.

ETA: I can put you in touch with her directly if you are serious, pm me.

What I don't get about that tootle car is why the owner doesn't get the bodywork sorted, particularly the front end. I can't see anyone forking out the asking price with that mess to deal with. I didn't even bother looking at it for this reason.

My sentiments exactly. If you're selling for top money car should be good to go. No issues, no trips to body shop. Imagine, get home, show your mates your nice new car and all you'd here is have you seen this, have you seen that'. Not good business.

I guess its down to the owner to present the car properly if they are just a sales company.

But at top money with money needing spending, its the reason she has still got it..

It was discussed 6 months ago when a forum member mentioned interest in it .
The selling company don't even own or have the car to show to prospective buyers until money has changed hands  its a naff idea & along with high price/low prep is why the car is still available
