M market watch

Some food for thought.

Been thinking of selling the Z4MC and had a 'chat' with a dealer. Been offered £16,300 for it which seems reasonable to me, given that i would be lucky to get £17k if going private. Car is on 52k, has nav, heated seats, parking sensors, 2007 3 owner car...

What are peoples thoughts?

If now is the time to let it go then the dealers offer would seem more than fair
Sure you are well aware that wait until the peak next season & you may see £17500/£18500 :?
Its snakes & ladders

No doubt i could, but by then i would likely have put another 5-10k miles on it. Need to have a serious think i guess.

This is the only one with mileage in the 60's(just) i can see at the moment for comparison.... spec not as good as yours.

Its been for sale a while though..

This seems a nice roady at sensible money and miles...

Head says take the money and run, heart say not to, lol. Have contacted another well known dealer just for a comparison for interest sake. Played it slightly different this time though when setting expectations. Will report back with findings.

Yea....

Its hard to see them drive off.......

It depends what you bought it at,how long you have had it and whether youre prepared to take the price gamble.. Likes Mr Wilks says, its snakes and ladders...

In fact there is a fair few coupes out there at attractive miles and price at the moment....

Are they saying its cat d status :?

I'm assuming so, do other insurance claims show up on a HPI check? I'm not too familiar with how they log things.

Nothing else would show up. If it's not cat status he will be doing himself no favours.

I can confirm this is CAT D.

Advert should be clear on this point IMO.

I offered 15k on the Interlagos blue one weeks ago but buyer was holding out for 16k. Gutting for me as it was only 10 miles away. Ended up going to Wales for the one I bought :|

I asked BMW Hudds what mine would be worth against a 35i /35is (not that they had one in) and they said that it would only be book price as they wouldn't sell it and just move it on.

So guessing £9k - £10k
