I call shenanigans on their finance offering. In 24 months time this Z4M coupe will be worth £6747.75p?! It's a superb price at £14,995 though.

I just think if a trader is asking £16k, and will probably take £15.5, why would you buy private for £14.75k, or even £14.25k.....especially if the trader car has full BMW SH and the private ones dont.

I'm looking for a 2007 Z4MR with around 40k miles and full history. is £14,000 to £14,500 or 750 unreasonable for a good conditon private example.
Do these cars tend to come down after the summer as ive noticed a lot of cars for sale on auto trader etc dont seem to be selling.

Other than a warranty what re-assurances do you think a trader offers?
£14.25 or £15.5k.......if a warranty is less than £1250, that's why you'd go private?

mr wilks said:You may get close to your target Nick but might have to lift the 40k & also be prepared to travel & act quickly as there seems to be more buyer for relatively few cars with that mileage
Also worth noting that ins2 could be due around 50k ish so that could add £800/£1000 to the car ?
Personally id go up in miles to mid 50s with ins 2 done although for me the ongoing miles would be 3/4k a year & yours may be higher  its snakes & ladders playing miles off against ask price but the position of the car in the service cycle & condition of brakes can soon rattle some £££ out of your pocket :?

Hate trader sales patter sh*te.
Trade warranty's aren't worth a great deal either, will barely pay out for sod all these days.

This car in question is local to me; They had an identical one come on a few months ago, i phoned up and it had sold. This one came onto Pistonheads and ebay at about 8pm i think Tuesday night this week, i phoned them up at 10am the following morning only to hear that it had been sold to a guy who drove by. Now the add on Ebay has since been changed to:
BMW Z4 M Roadster - Choice of 2 in stock
Read into that what you will.....

Any reason you want a 2007?
I know there were a few changes but other than twin tuner for TA and AUX I can think of any others that were standard unless ISOFIX was.
The ///M was only built for 2 years and the age these cars are now 2006-2008 makes little difference.
