M market watch

No mention of exhaust mod which is clear to see & zero information that any buyer shelling £14500 would want to see :?
Why bother :?

Yah that first one is a bit of a clip, you'd have to wonder if the owner let it get into that state cosmetically then did they love it enough to pay out the correct servicing costs on schedule.

Probably not. No mention of service history. If they're using two new tyres as a selling point then they a) don't know the car very well, the state of the tyres isn't really a concern for a M and b) kinda says there isn't any service history to sell it on.

I kind of agree with you, whilst these little factors may seem inconsequential, we need to try to collect as many little snippets about a car's owner as we can to try to fornesically assess how we think the car was probably treated.

I think perhaps you are being rather harsh before condemning the example with the red seats -to be fair its tricky to properly assess condition from low res PH pics . Maybe its some one who just doesn't know how to optimally advertise their car -from the setting in that compound i agree they clearly don't ,but its not right to write the seller off like that without being privy to all the facts .For all you know it might have an impeccable SH and a lot of money spent on it .Anyone who was seriously interested would get a good feel from a phone call as to whether this was one to persue or not .

Maybe low res pics but i can see one wing has a M badge & the other doesn't plus a black & chrome combo tailpipe scene going on
Think what you like MP but as i already said it looks unloved & is advertised very badly for a not insignificant sum

That looks s**t.....Whether it be a good car or not...

Is that an RPi exhaust or some kind of rip off ?

You've got a good eye for detail for sure

I like black on black, but the car doesn't look particularly shiny......

no mention of service history like others mentioned....Would have been tempted if it wasn't black....

I use to love black cars when I was younger, but now I can't be doing with the upkeep......and prefer a red or blue for a Z4MR...

Silver high spec roadster with only 7k miles for £22k. Seriously highlights Hexagon as the extortionists that they are.
I'd be seriously interested in that one at that price.

I've been talking about this one with someone on here, lovely car lovely, but sadly its got an adhoc service history... which alot of these uber lower milers seem to have, i service in regardless... part of ownership imo. But if the cars not moving i guess its not a big issue!

That would be me, picking it up on Saturday :D going to be a long week waiting.

Car is so honest & genuine, every receipt from new, one MOT that can only have been 100 miles since the previous. Touch wood, but bushes etc all still perfect.

Getting Inspection 2 done regardless as not been moving much. Car says it needs Inspection 1 in 13k, but would rather nurture it.

Congratulations! Of you sir I am truly envious! That's a beautiful example, you've bagged what looks like a winner

Yah it looked like all the boxes are ticked! Welcome to the M club sir!
What spawned this purchase into roady ownership?

Wife has a 2.5si, never really drove it until last week. Motorway, bit of traffic, roof down after a long day & just felt completely chilled by the time I got home from a gruelling day at work. Brought me back to my S2K days & wondered why I ever stopped having soft tops.

Typically weather not looking good for the weekend

Both clearly prove to me why black on black looks shite. Especially when presented like these pair have.

So eloquently & succinctly put :P barring our own Si forks black on black Z i would agree  DPGs looked pretty good as well :)

This was mine, but it is only my opinion

Not a fan. It's crossing into the druggage dealerage type looking car... I couldn't even get away with the interlagos blue on black wheels, the contrast just isn't right imo. Dark wheels for me only work on lighter coloured cars, and they work sublime

This is the same for me too, my Z4M was black but I don't think I will buy another black car again now and blue I really love loads as it always catches my eye for some reason, also love a solid red because they polish up so well(although it loses its colour over time too much).

I have never liked black on black though as my 330d was that combo and its just the epitome of bland and boring for me.

Agree and black on black is just too predictable, I know not everyone likes the dogs Knob coloured red seats on the Z4M but I liked them on mine and it at least broke up the boring exterior colour a little I thought and it made a fairly decent colour combo.

I call shenanigans on their finance offering. In 24 months time this Z4M coupe will be worth £6747.75p?! It's a superb price at £14,995 though.
