M market watch

I assume this might be a fake account as I thought it was a members car. The Autotrader add had it in Essex and this ebay seems to have it in Norwich.

Yes, that looks like a scam - I think the car was for sale on here a while ago:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=113351

Nothing to do with me but spotted this Z4MC

Interestingly I saw that Blackbushe BCA a few weeks ago and it was on one of either AT or eBay for the last few weeks at £15,500. Seems seller is in a hurry to sell...

Yes, it was for sale on Ebay by a trader in Fleet. Which being not too far from me was getting me tempted!

At some stage you're going to have to scratch that M itch, Mr Tidy!!

Yes, it looks like it is inevitable doesn't it - I never should have driven one (and definitely not a 2nd)!

A mate of mine went to that auction and was telling me the other day that it didn't sell - I didn't find out how far the bidding got though.

But the one at BCA in Blackbushe on Monday didn't sell either. It got as far as £14,600.

I expect the time of year didn't help!

Not often those hunting ZMCs have a choice of imola cars 8)

Lovely Imola M coupe with black leather , 80k & just 1 owner from new :o that's a real rarity after 12 yrs
£16500 reflects a tight market but keep the miles down & this should give a couple of years depreciation free ///Motoring :driving:

& a virtually identical example with a few less miles (76k / £16995) on here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-M-Z4M-IMOLA-RED-BIG-SPEC/123938093325?hash=item1cdb49390d:g:nlcAAOSwhvpdouoG

I was very, very tempted by both of those Imola ones, then the one I've bought popped up and now I've got Imola seats rather than paint.

& it was £2500 less which must also have appealed greatly :D

I'll have to admit that was definitely a factor - plus it already had 19" CSL Reps fitted which I think look great on a Coupe!

I'd say it was a shrewd buy , timing for yourself could not have been any better.
Opportunity knocked & you were stood behind the door to yank it open.
This time next year will tell its own tale , in the meantime get some miles done , they are intoxicating machines to drive.
I usually cover 2500/3000 weekend miles a year., the first ZM I did 7k in 8 months , just couldn't stay out of it :driving:
Best of luck with yours

Thanks, it just looked too good to miss. I've tended to average about 4,000 miles a year in my 3 litre Coupes, but even after a grotty drive home round the M25 in the rush hour I can see me putting more miles on the M just because it feels and sounds so special!

Good luck with your latest one too.

Mine is on at £25,750
I’ve had some people say it’s worth £28k but as the experts - what do you think?

Clever pics of the boot drains. I’d look there.

It’s a tricky time for valuation. If someone wants to pick up a low miler as an investment, they’ll always be prepared to pay a bit more just to execute and get it in the garage. This effect is not strong for the Z4M though, as you couldn’t really say it’s joined the ranks of the CSL etc yet. So I think £25k is more realistic if you actually want to sell it soon.

Mileage and owners?

It’s a nice car the only thing which goes against it in my opinion is the amount of owners. I paid £23.5k in Aug for my 38,000 Coupe so I think it’s a fair price and in similar condition as mine.
