they arrived over the weekend and look very well made, nice and neat!

didnt get a chance to fit tho as was busy and probs wont all week as its dark before/after work so dont fancy working in the cold and dark on my drive lol. but that just means in the meantime i might spray them and see how they look.... not sure if im gonna go black or white to blend in as best they can with my white fangs :dizzy: :scratchhead:

What is the material? Will it paint ok with a primer?

I will get some tomorrow so they are ready for the weekend.

Do they even need painted ? I'm thinking my car is silver, and I'm s**t with a rattle can, so why bother :P

There made from 1mm thick stainless steel. They can be painted but because they are so smooth faced, you will need to rough the surface with a sander, then prime and paint.

Alternatively, you could get them powder coated. Should be quite cheap and most places offer a range of colours. More hard wearing also.

I personally wouldn't bother either as you won't be able to see them when fitted.
 
Thought they were stainless. In my experience doesn't paint so well so will see if I can get powder coated.

Might have to wait a bit longer than the weekend to get them on!

I painted the ones I had on my m bumper Originally. They soon got scratched to hell from constant scrapes. Makes a cool sound!

The paint on my current ones is suffering from stone chips badly, so I reckon I'll leave these ones as the marks won't show so much.
 
Arrived today, look great. Not yet paired them up to check fit, but will do soon. Won't fit them until I replace the bumper though.
