M bumper skid plates

i'm still interested. only thing i'm not sure on is the little bit that sticks out on the sides. would this be eradicated for our batch or would we need to cut it down?
 
Update.

Ordered the 3 sets that have been requested and paid for today. We discussed the fit, had a look at mine and have adjusted the template so the edge should be flush now.

As an added bonus all future sets (including these 3) will come powder coated black at no extra cost :thumbsup:
 
Are they quite bendy?

I got some made of SS and they are a little too rigid.

After smashing one of my fangs mine one of mine is bent now, and may take a little work to straighten... so might be easier getting a new one off you :lol:
 
They're 2mm aluminium, so may be easier to manipulate than ss. They're quite firm, but i put a slight curve in one easily so it hugged the fang.

Was hoping they'd be ready today but they didnt call. I'll drop in at lunch tomorrow, hopefully ready!

Think i'll get a couple extra sets made to avoid waiting in future...

Will let you know when collected / sent.

Bad news, went to (hopefully) pick them up at lunch and he hasn't done them any of them yet :|

He said he'll try to have all sets ready for pick up on friday, but as its a large scale aluminium fabricators, he only puts them through when cutting similar spec sheets etc, and he had said he'd powder coat them black for no extra charge, so I hope he sticks to his word and has time to powder coat them.

If I get them friday afternoon they'll all be despatched first thing Saturday :thumbsup:

Another delay :headbang:

I will be providing the CAD file for him now, as he hasn't had time to draw it up as they've been stacked out with work and he doesn't want to cut half a dozen sets by hand. I will make the CAD over the weekend.

So apologies for a slight delay. I may ask a few other fabricator places if they would do it, just incase he keeps delaying it I'll have a back up.

Update:

Picked up 5 sets of the skid plates today. They were drawn up in CAD at my work so we could re-profile the edge that slightly protruded on the first hand-cut version. They've been cut from 3mm aluminium and are much stiffer then the first set I have on mine so should be able to protect from a good impact. (Sadly, I accidentally tested this with mine but the bumper fang survived. Lowering springs are coming off!!)

On the down side they aren't powder coated black unfortunately. I'll see if I can spray them up prior to shipping.
