I found a set of ///M3 wheels 8x18 inch and use them as my winter wheel set. The ///M sticker on the wheels is very cool and I find people always looking at wheels. I got the wheels at a very good price they are replicas of course. I love them since they do remind me of my e46 M3 wheels (sold that car last spring). So I got now 5 ///M badges my former key chain and my 4 winter wheels I love it.
Mind you I might just stick a ///M Power sticker on my Z4 on the back since when I drove my ///M3 I always saw the Z8, 3 and 4 as members of the family :}

It really annoys me when I see BMW's with ///M badges on them when they are blatantly not an ///M. I pulled up at some lights next to an old 3 series debadged apart from an ///M badge. I asked him why he had fitted it, his response, "It's an M3 mate." I doubted it even more I watched him get further and further away in my rear view mirror.
I've also noticed a lot of Mercedes' with undeserved AMG badges......this is a seriuos pet peeve of mine.
I've only got an ///M badge on my gear stick and I don't care :driving:
and I don't care :driving:There's a coupe literally a few doors down from me. He has M badges on the sides, rear and even on the front (grille) :roll:

Lighten up, its a stick on badge, not someone's Victoria Cross paraded dishonestly.
Each to their own, if it makes him happy.
Personally I wouldn't do it, I would rather have the real thing.

Mine had M badges on when I bought it but swiftly removed them. I am now fully de-badged...

Each to their own, of course, but its like buying a fake watch (fair enough) and telling everyone you know its real. Some will believe you, some will think you're a knob. The worse the fake, the more stupid you look. Driving a 520d with a fake M badge makes you look like a knob, that's all.
Using that comparison, the below is quite a 'good' fake to the untrained eye...
....while others look like they fell out of a Christmas cracker.
